Planning Steps

for competent advice

Select suitable ekey system (project size):

a) ekey home (1 nger scanner, 1 control panel)

b) ekey multi (up to 4 nger scanners, 1 control panel)

Selectmostsuitablengerscanner:

a) wall-mounted

b) integra including wall-mounting kit for installation into wall, or

for integration into door leafs or door frames

c) outlet-mounted for integration into gang boxes or door entry systems

Only applicable for ekey home:

Select suitable control panel (amount of relay outputs, design)

a) wall-mounted or DIN-rail mounted for installation in the electrical

cabinet (distribution board)

b) required amount of relay outputs,

e.g. to open the front door (relay 1), arm/disarm the intrusion alarm

system (relay 2), etc.

Select a power supply:

a) standard power supply

b) convenient DIN-rail mounted power supply for electrical switch cabinet

c) outlet-mounted power supply

ATTENTION: When integrating into entry panels, a suitable power

supply is often already available.

ATTENTION: Check required voltage and amperage of door strike,

motor lock, etc. A suitable power supply is also often supplied along with

motor locks.

Add suitable accessories

Regarding door strikes and motor locks, please note:

a) A door strike is low cost, but the door is not deadlocked.

b) A motor lock deadlocks the door automatically (via spring clips or a

motor) and unlocks the door electrically (motorized). Advise

your customer to purchase a motor lock along with the new door!
